  1. I’ve been retired all my life, so I think I’d do what I’m doing now.

I think your website should carry the caveat, contains religious material, for immature viewers only.

How about some more wrestling videos, if you have any in which you don’t lose, that is….

    Sincerely,
    “Vlad”

  2. What is it that you are doing now?

While I appreciate the cleverness of the saying, who is being designated as immature? Me for starting the conversation, the people who are offended by it, or everyone who takes an interest in religion, whether it be for or against?

I’ve got one more video I think.  I cracked my rib (or tore the cartilage to be more accurate) a couple months ago, so I didn’t get to finish the season :(   It doesn’t come around again until March of next year.

  3. Vladimir Horowitz died about 10 years ago, so I suppose he’d not doing very much these days. Maybe he does command performances for God.

He had a very long career, and besides his pianistic virtuousity, he was famous for a long period of retirement, out of which he emerged as good as ever.

He was also a wrestling fan, so it seemed a good alias to use.

No, I was just kidding or chiding a little. Some immature people have been religious, and some mature ones too. Religion is dangerous however, so I wish there were some way of licensing it so only the mature ones got to use it. I studied some of the mature ones in school, and thought they were great to read. Swift, for an obvious example. Andrew Marvell, for another. You’d probably enjoy his The Rehearsal Transpros’d. He was a sophisticated Puritan intellectual, who argued for religious freedoom, and separation of Church and State. He was very mature, to say the least.

No, you seem mature, and reasonable. (Perhaps a bit eccentric (understatement!)).

I have great difficulty believing in any sort of god I’d want to worship. I think belief in such an entity is entirely at odds with my senses, with my intelligence. If he/she/it existed, I still wouldn’t worship. In that sense I still wouldn’t believe. I can’t imagine that my believe or unbelief matters anyway.

I know that “philosophers” can logically prove the existence of God, or think they can. I just don’t care, for the reasons above. I don’t care for other reasons too, which I don’t suppose I should go into here and now. I get impatient and irritable, leave it at that….

I suppose I should just read the “secular and profane” parts, and butt out of the rest…. I suppose I’m inconsistent, or maybe I’m a bit jealous….

I’m certainly disappointed…. No wrestling videos? How about posting something about your injuries, then? Did Lisa BASH you? Post something about that (with illustrations).

That interests me a lot more….
